Country Programs Overview

At Family by Adoption Inc. we manage the complexity of international adoption programs and process and complete adoptions abroad for the children and families we serve.

The agency does international relative adoptions from several countries and is licensed to facilitate non-relative adoptions from South Africa, Nigeria, Haiti, Guyana, Ethiopia and Ghana.  If you are inquiring about adopting an identified child from a different country than those listed here, we may be able to assist you on the basis of obtaining a one-time Ministry licence to do so.  Contact us to learn more about each program so that you can decide which program is right for your family.

International adoption programs change and evolve over time. Such changes may include eligibility requirements of applicants, oversight systems abroad, documentation required, timelines and fees.  We strive to keep our families informed of any changes if and when they occur and communicate information regularly through our agency memos.  Our staff is on-site daily.

Below is a overview of our current programs.
